Hold On to Your Kids: Strengthening Parent-Child Connections

Senior mindfulness teacher and psychotherapist, Brian Shiers, will lead an insightful discussion based on Dr. Gabor Maté and Dr. Gordon Neufeld’s book, Hold On to Your Kids.

In this session, we’ll explore the growing influence of peers in our children’s lives and how it affects their emotional well-being.

Brian will offer practical strategies for building and maintaining strong parent-child relationships, helping our teens feel secure, supported, and resilient in a culture that often prioritizes peer connections over family bonds.

We hope you’ll join us for a mindfulness practice and this important conversation on how we can reclaim our role as our teen’s primary emotional anchor.
